Welcome to The Vintage Poster Store

Having been asked many times to produce artwork for friends and family depicting concert and classic film posters I decided to set up the ‘Vintage Poster Store’. Based from my studio in Bridgnorth, Shropshire, I hope to bring an already growing audience closer to the nostalgia of the times and places of yesteryear. A time when you could attend a concert for as little as 50p and go to the movies for less than 35p! Seeing rock giants like AC/DC and Black Sabbath for less than a pound at my local Civic Hall forged my whole outlook on music and gave me memories that I will live with me forever. Remembering how exciting it was to see a poster of one of your favourite bands on local billboards and trying desperately to prize it off the wall so that it could be added to the other memorabilia on your bedroom wall!! How many of us had torn and tattered posters on our bedroom walls.

‘A time when you could attend a concert for as little as 50p and go to the movies for less than 35p!’

Thinking about things in greater depth I realised that we all love nostalgia, happy times when life was, well…simple and uncomplicated. Very often these thoughts are triggered by something that we have seen or have come across lying in an old draw or up in a loft gathering dust. What if we could have the chance to own a piece of that nostalgia that depicts those times? I am sure there are many like minded people out there like me who would love to have something personal to remember those great times by. ‘Vintage Poster Store’ gives you the opportunity to own something quite special, which otherwise would have been condemned to the annals of time.

Our aim is to faithfully reproduce limited edition artwork that captures the essence of a particular time, event and place of an original artist, classic film or sporting event.

Inspired by our own love of these genres, each piece is crafted using in depth research of original media and imagery and then combining digitally to give you a fantastic example of ‘new wave’ artwork. Researching in detail the images, the history and the venues that these artists once played, we recreate these stunning pieces of art.

We have 26 pieces for sale at present, although not all of them have been added to our website. This number will grow over time as our portfolio expands.

The finished print sizes range from 594mm x 841mm (Which is AO the largest size we print) to 297mm x 420mm (A3). All printed on a super high quality paper. They would not look out of place in your office, workplace, living room or your chill out space. Have a look through our website and feel free to drop us a line with any questions that you may have.
