Jimi Hendrix Experience Live at Hastings Pier October 1967

Hendrix met guitarist Noel Redding in London at an audition for the New Animals, where Redding's knowledge of blues progressions impressed Hendrix. Redding was asked if he wanted to play bass guitar in Hendrix's band; Redding agreed and soon after Mitch Mitchell who had recently been fired from Georgie Fame and the Blue Flames, participated in a rehearsal with Redding and Hendrix where they found common ground in their shared interest in rhythm and blues.

By the time Hendrix and The Experience played Hastings Pier in October 1967 they had already played the Monterey Festival and released "are you experienced" which spent 33 weeks on the charts peaking at no 2. It was only prevented from reaching no 1 by the Beatles and Sgt Pepper. Now you have the chance to own this fantastic reproduction artwork of that famous gig in Hastings.
